I'm Bo Kendell, a software engineer in Salt Lake City. At BambooHR I work on the Community team, mostly backend: I co-own a production LLM agent that suggests peer recognitions, and the eval harness we use to decide which prompts, models and gating rules actually work.
Outside work I build my own products end to end, alone, with coding agents doing much of the typing. That pushed me into the parts most side projects skip: environments per branch, evals, architecture checks the agents can't argue with, and ways for an agent to see what it built.
What I'm building
- Bagman: a golf scoring app with a voice caddy for groups playing money games.
- Swarm: my developer platform: a CLI, an API and a desktop app that give every branch its own environment.
- SimRig: an open-source relay that lets coding agents drive a real iOS simulator.
- This site: readable by people and agents, with an MCP server and a CLI.
